135 East Hyogo Dry Gin from The Kaikyo Distillery is named for the Akashi Meridian, which runs past the distillery in Akashi city at 135 degrees east longitude. It boasts a boatload of Japanese botanicals, with cedar wood, shiso leaf, chrysanthemum, sansho pepper and yuzu! Citrus and spice intertwine beautifully in this fragrant gin.
5 Local Japanese Botanicals, 3 Western (including Juniper) each distilled separately using different techniques (including both Pot and Vacuum distillation) to get the very best flavours. The base spirit also contains distilled handcrafted sake for true Japanese authenticity.
