Wine Description & Tasting Notes

Planted in 1971, Astley Vineyard is a family run, single estate vineyard in Worcestershire. They are one of the oldest vineyards in the UK, located in the beautiful Severn Valley, just 10 miles north of the cathedral city of Worcester.

Larford is Astley’s brand new, easy drinking blend. Fruity, great value, with a satisfying richness. A crowd pleasing wine to share at parties, give as a gift, or enjoy mid-week. Pairs well with curries and a long day at work.

Grape Varieties: 61% Siegerrebe, 22% Kerner, 7% Madeleine Angevine

Nose: Red apples and soft pear with hints of orchard blossoms and ginger.

Palate: Off-dry with the hint of sweetness making it all the more gluggable with soft fruity flavours and a subtle level of acidity.

Food Pairings: Very enjoyable on its own but can be paired with spicy foods.
