Wine Description & Tasting Notes
Dalwood Vineyard’s 2023 dry white was created from grapes from their single block vineyard in East Devon. This single block produces just 3,800 bottles of still wine.
The varieties are picked individually by hand, to ensure each variety is harvested at its best. Dalwood employ a minimal intervention, whole-bunch pressing method that allows the flavours of the crop to flourish.
Brilliantly clean and bright white blend of Solaris and Seyval Blanc.
Nose: Aromas of green pear, grapefruit, lemon and pear drops. As it warms, and opens in the glass a riper tropical fruit and floral note appears.
Palate: This wine is packed full of crisp pear and lemon. Fuller notes of white peach and fleshy tropical fruit thanks to some lovely ripe Solaris support the racy, salted lemon core of the Seyval Blanc.
Food Pairings: Delightful with shellfish and asian inspired spicy dishes. Equally great as a refreshing glass on its own.
