Wine Description & Tasting Notes
A classic dry style of Riesling made from vines dating back to 1958 from both estate vineyard sites in the Finger Lakes.
Ripe and tropical, harmonising fresh lime juice, fresh citrus and petrol stoniness from the Keuka vineyards with melon and apricot from the Seneca vineyards. Behind the zingy freshness is a rich body and a discreet creaminess which forms energy, brightness, and persistence.
This rich, dry Riesling with elevated acidity pairs best with soft goats cheeses, simply prepared sauteed or grilled chicken or pork dishes, lightly prepared white fishes, salmon, or scallops, greens salads, and sushi.
Nose: Lime zest, granny smith apples and mineral stoniness.
Palate: Zingy citrus and nectarine freshness, bright and persistent.
