Wine Description & Tasting Notes
Founded in 1797, Louis Latour’s exceptional domaine covers 50 hectares and includes the largest collection of Grand Cru vineyards in Burgundy!
The Côte de Beaune-Villages appellation is applied exclusively to red wines from 16 communes in the Côte de Beaune including Saint-Aubin, Pernand-Vergelesses, and Auxey-Duresses. Maison Louis Latour carefully selects the grapes that are most representative of the appellation to produce this wine.
10 to 12 months ageing in stainless steel vats and oak barrels.
Nose: Elegant notes of strawberries and dried red fruit with an undertone of dried leaves and forest floor.
Palate: Round with supple tannins, with the red berry fruits from the nose carrying through, finishing with subtle notes of liquorice.
Food Pairings: Great to be sipped and savoured but loves to be paired with roasted/grilled game and lamb.
