Elegant, complex and rich Tokaji Aszú, a blend of Furmint & Muscat from an outstanding vintage.
Harmonious yet vibrantly exciting, sensual wine. Its beauty is already refined, but it will mature and change a lot over the next thirty years.
The base of the Aszú wines comes from different vineyards, depending on where Botrytis (noble rot) occurred in the given year.
Colour: Pale gold.
Nose: Dried tropical fruit notes of apricot and mango, with a herbal hint.
Palate: Rich and sweet, yet elegantly fresh, offering flavors of ripe apricot and honey, balanced by vibrant acidity.
Food Pairings: Traditionally, Tokaji Aszú pairs well with terrines. Additionally, it complements blue cheeses, foie gras, and fruit-based desserts like apricot tart or apple strudel. The wine’s sweetness and acidity balance these rich and flavorful dishes, creating a harmonious dining experience.

Sauska Winery meticulously selects grapes from various vineyards within the Tokaj region, focusing on areas where Botrytis cinerea (noble rot) has favorably affected the grapes in a given year. This careful selection ensures the production of high-quality Aszú wines.
