Wine Description & Tasting Notes
An innovative sparkling sake from Akashi-Tai. The Junmai Gingjo designation indicates no alcohol was added after fermentation. Made using the traditional method, as used in Champagne, this is light, refreshing and reminiscent of a more savoury Moscato d’Asti.
Nose: Soft notes of yuzu, melon and sakura (cherry) blossom.
Palate: Crisp and refreshing with a soft frizzante sparkle carrying the citrus, melon and banana notes to a subtle savoury finish.
Food Pairings: Great on its own served chilled or in cocktails. Also with some light dishes such as salads and rice.
