A little sassy, full of vitality and a touch of boldness, each of the wines in the Clementine range has much in common with their namesake, the winemaker’s adorable daughter, Clementine ‘Minnie’ Logan.
The 2021 Clementine Blushing Minnie is a light bodied red comprised of Shiraz, Tempranillo, Pinot noir and Merlot. “The aromas and flavours of Blushing Minnie are a fragrant mix of red and dark berries, plums and spice. This is an ideal wine for festive occasions – traditionalists may enjoy Blushing Minnie with a roast turkey, cranberry sauce and all the trimmings, whilst modernists will enjoy pairing this light red style with a spicy pork bao or peking duck pancakes.”
Nose: Strawberry, red apple with hints of roses and violets.
Palate: Flavours of cherry, red plum and raspberry. Rounded and dry.
Best drunk chilled when it’s warm and room temp when it’s cold.
Food Pairings: Ideal to traditionally pair with roast turkey, or unconventionally with spicy pork and Peking duck.
